I know that isn't a very eloquent or attention grabbing headline but is the most accurate short statement I could come up with.It has some interesting factoids but there are a surprising number of errors that should have been caught in editing. There are also quite a few repetitive statements that come off as page fillers more than necessary reminders. It's a quick read and did give some painting of what likely contributed to Ghislaine's path into unspeakably abhorrent behavior and actions but overall, it was as my title suggests. Meh.The purchase was prompted by my endless fascination of people and their stories. In particular, when comparing childhood experiences to where they "land" or choices they make as adults. The book did fulfill a small amount of that but I have a feeling some of the other books referenced are likely a bit better caliber.Though I do not agree with the one review I saw calling it garbage; it isn't an award winning expose, but it was an ok distraction about a subject that I am confounded by. This book was meticulously researched. She shares so much unreported information that each chapter could be made into a novel. Each chapter delves into something different leaving me wanting more. If you're looking to learn things MSM will never tell you, you can't go wrong reading anything written by Kirby Sommers. And this book is no exception.
